Welcome to Kent Coast Ghosts!

Various handmade, clay ghosts in all sizes and colours.
Some of the Kent Coast Ghosts!

It's been a while since I wrote a blog post that wasn't a Freebie Friday, but the past couple of months have literally been a whirlwind!

We launched as Kent Coast Ghosts in April, and honestly, we haven't stopped - it's been amazing! I absolutely LOVE making these ghosties, and I'm so happy that you all love them too. It's such an incredible feeling, when you put so much time and energy into something - especially when it's something you love - to find out that other people love it too. The relief is real!

So, where are we at now?! Well, three months in and I'm only just welcoming you all! But apart from that, we've launched many new collections, teamed up with some other local Kentish businesses, and a couple of weeks ago we won Theo Paphitis' SBS Small Business Sunday award!

Theo Paphitis' #SBS Award for Kent Coast Ghosts

I'd been entering for a year or so - both as embRUDEry, and then as our rebranded, revamped Kent Coast Ghosts - so to finally be chosen was an epic win for us! This award really means the world, and opens the door to so many new, and unique opportunities.

So, what's the plan now?! Well, apart from turning into a 24/7 ghost-making machine, (for which I am eternally grateful to be able to do), I'm planning on launching a subscription box - maybe once a quarter? This will be themed and contain a ghost, (obviously!), as well as other small products to showcase the other amazing small businesses we have in Kent!

I'm also planning a ghost drop VERY soon, so keep an eye out on all of our social media channels - you can subscribe by using the icons underneath our logo at the top of every page. This will basically be a huge thank you to all of you for your amazing support, and will involve me getting out to various places - not just in Kent, but across the UK and maybe one day around the world, (dream big, they said...) - and dropping ghosts for you to find! I am incredibly excited about these little scavenger hunts, and they're definitely something that I'll be doing on a regular basis.

I don't want to risk boring you senseless, but I do want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the incredible support we've had. Every single like, share, comment and purchase - especially when we're tagged in your photos - just makes me so happy that our little ghosts are bringing joy to so many people around the world!

Stay tuned for more incredible things... and most importantly, stay spooky!

- Victoria
